Crack up your egghead friends with these party favors! (And you won't have to shell out
a lot of money to make 'em!)
NOTE: Since you'll need to wait for grass to grow as part of this craft, you may want to
prepare your eggheads about a week before your party.)
- To make each egghead, use a small nail to create a hole about the size of a quarter in one end
of an egg (do this over a sink so that you won't end up with egg on your hands).
- Drain and rinse out the shell. Then use colorful permanent markers to draw a funny face on it.
- Spoon some soil into the shell and plant some grass seeds in it. Moisten the soil and cover
the shell loosely with plastic wrap.
- Set your egg in a sunny spot so it'll start sprouting (this should take less than a week).
- Remove the plastic wrap and give the egghead to a friend. Tell him/her to water it daily so it
can grow even longer, greener hair!
